Sushi II

New addition to my sushi collection. Somehow, sushi easily gets hearts at my Etsy shop but I can only sell one set in a couple of months. Perhaps people prefer Re-ment version but trust me, this is much smaller!

Itadakimasu! ("Let's eat" in Japanese).... er... i mean let your dolls eat

Compare with my first set of sushi blogged here

Butter choco marble cake

Sometimes I like to go through Flickr to get inspiration for mini food. So one day I came across this: www.flickr.com/photos/49631061@N00/135905521/

The most challenging was no doubt the marble cake. Someone please teach me how to do marble technique! How do you get nice patterns, evenly distributed, with just the right dose of chocolate in the right places? While I am satisfied with the way the marble cakes turned out, I think there is room to improve. As for now, come pick a slice for your tea time. ^_^

Still deciding whether to put this on my Etsy shop but I will be listing a couple of new items over this weekend. Do lookout for them!

Miniature Cereal Part 1 - Froot Loops

Start the day right with Kellogg's Froot Loops! While I don't fancy the sweet taste, looking at them makes me happy. I love colours. Hopefully they brighten up your day too. Available at My Etsy Shop

It's Sunday - just one more day of precious rest before a busy week starts again. I have a workaholic colleague who loves weekdays more than weekends. She often says, "Don't you find weekends so boring? There is nothing to do."

I don't think there will come a day when I have nothing to do. Other than miniatures, I've started to collect scrabble tile pendants. I'll feature them when they arrive. ^_^

Cupcakes... tarts...cupcakes...tarts

Phew! I've had much problem trying to upload images onto blogger. My photos managed to upload to Picasa Web Albums (Google's photo storage) but somehow couldn't show up here.

Anyway this is for those who still have problem. Quoted from yvolow: Upload the usual way. DO NOT click done. Right click on the pic, left click on properties & copy the URL. Do not close the uploaded image window. On ur blog window in edit HTML format, input the following: img src='URL'/

Some commission items - the ever popular fruit tarts and cupcakes. I lost count of the cupcakes I made! The cream is made using my hands and a tweezer. Someone pls get me a piping tool!
